Armageddon Crusade
The Armageddon Crusade is a Crusade of the Black Templars.[1]
Overview
Led by High Marshal Helbrecht himself, the Armageddon Crusade has retained its title since the Third War for Armageddon. Helbrecht's Crusade retains the status of primacy in the Chapter, though it remains unspoken, for the Black Templars hold personal aggrandizement as a sin. The Armageddon Crusade is believed to currently be the largest, particularly with regards to Veterans and Sword Brethren.[1]
Besides the High Marshal himself, these forces count amongst their ranks some of the Chapter's greatest warriors and relics. The Crusade uses these inspiring figures and religious icons to motivate those they fight alongside, while Helbrecht's skill in void warfare is fervently instilled throughout his crusade. As a result, the Crusade has a specialization in fleet battles , boarding actions against enemy ships and orbital installations, and the clearing of Space Hulks.[1]
