Asedor is a former Imperial Hive World, that has been successfully invaded by the Brothers of Retaliation warband.^[1]

History

A Chaos Cult aided the Brothers of Retaliation in the invasion and both were able to infiltrate the Hive World's defenses and take over Asedor's principle military installations. The warband was also helped, when half of Asedor's PDF betrayed their Homeworld and aided the Brothers of Retaliation. A plea for Imperial assistance was then sent out, before the Chaos invaders attacked the Arden Prime Hive, where Imperial Governor Elias An'Therosed's palace was located. This plea was answered by the Space Wolves Commander Rakhim, who led his Chapter's forces from aboard the Pride of Fenris. Seeing Asedor firmly in the invaders' hands, led the Commander to know that his forces were outnumbered and could not win in a direct assault against them. Instead he sought to escort An'Therosed, to the Pride of Fenris, so the Governor could provide intelligence about the Chaos forces they would face.^[1]

Rakhim then led a rescue-team which teleported to An'Therosed's palace, but this was discovered by the Brothers of Retaliation. The warband jammed the rescue-team's teleport signal, before the Space Wolves could escape and Asedor's orbital defenses prevented the Pride of Fenris from sending Thunderhawks. The Governor knew that a prototype Escape Pod was located in Arden Prime's Hive-spire though, and the rescue-team immediately escorted An'Therosed there. However a group of Brothers of Retaliation perused them and the Chaos Space Marines caught the Space Wolves near the Escape Pod's chamber. A fierce battle erupted and as the rescue-team tried to escort the Governor to the Escape Pod, the Chaos invaders shut off power to the Hive-spire. This prevented the Escape Pod from working and left An'Therosed and the surviving Space Wolves stranded on Asedor.^[1]

• Asedor, Elias An'Therosed, Rakhim and the Brothers of Retaliation were created by Lorens Karaca. They appeared in The Citadel Journal 33.^[1]
