Ashen Axe

The Ashen Axe is a Word Bearers relic.[1]
This Chainaxe dates back to the Great Crusade and was oft used on worlds that rejected compliance. After the Word Bearers corruption, the axe became a nexus for Daemons which fed off its anguish and misery. Enemies of the Word Bearers find themselves unable to flee from the axe's blows but in truth, their minds are assailed by the entities within it.[1]
