Athocles Van Roth

Athocles Van Roth is a Radical Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos, who sought to end the threat the Octarius War posed to the Imperium.[1]
History
He was given an opportunity to do so when Roth's ally, Watch Captain Daox Glykas, brought an Ork machine to him. It had been created by the Big Mek Baddkrasha and when used, it disrupted the synapse used by the Tyranid species. Roth knew if he could figure out how the machine operated, he would be able to end the Tyranid threat in the Octarius War. In order to do so, Roth gathered an army and travelled to the Tyranid- and Ork-infested Maiden World Veloria. Once there, he began to experiment on the invading Tyranids, in order to master the use of Baddkrasha's machine.[1]
