Ax’senaea
Ax’senaea, the Thrice-Possessed, is a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh.[1]
History
Long before the Angevin Crusade in the Calixis Sector on the planet Laodomida, a child of a minor noble family by born. By the age of 30, the woman had spent her entire life among the courts of her powerful kin. Named Ax’senaea, she was left to turn inward and ponder the darkest regions of her own soul. She quickly rose to power by mercilessly removing her competition, and in only a few years she had decimated her dynasty and seized control, declaring herself Executrix Primaris.[1]
Soon enough, she began to manifest psychic abilities and thought them to be manifestations of her own skill. She collected a court of sages to master this knowledge, and amongst the men was a secret Sorcerer of Chaos. The Sorcerer taught Ax’senaea power to bind a powerful servant of Slaanesh to her own soul. However while the Sorcerer expected her to die, Ax’senaea instead was able to crush the daemonic entity beneath her will. Now possessed by a Keeper of Secrets, the woman murdered the sorcerer and slew the remainder of her enemies. She continued to abuse the Daemon within her for decades, draining its essence to fuel her ambitions. When she finally consumed its power she banished it back into the Warp and summoned a new Keeper of Secrets to begin the cycle anew.[1]
Over the following century, she consumed a second Keeper of Secrets and plunged her world into conflict by corrupting the souls of the ruling class. When Laodomida was completely under her control, she then spread to neighboring systems. When the third Daemon withered inside her, Ax’senaea hoped to gain the power of a fourth Keeper of Secrets. It was then that the woman was granted Daemonhood by Slaanesh. Her enslaved populations were pulled into the Warp alongside their vain queen. The mad Daemon Princess now spends her time in the Warp, viewing her fellow Daemons as rebels who need to be controlled.[1]
During the Siege of Terra, Ax’senaea was one of the many Daemons who manifested on the Throneworld during the final stages of the battle.[2]
