Balat

Balat is a Scout-Sergeant of the White Scars Chapter with nearly four centuries of service behind him.[1]
Rumours are that Balat once declined a promotion to become Master of the Watch back on Chogoris. Instead, he had asked to remain a simple Sergeant and be transferred to the 10th Company, so he could pass on his skills to new generations of White Scars scouts.[1]
During the liberation of the planet Tephra VII, Balat led squads of scouts as they assisted in the White Scars assault on the Ignis Mons complex.[1]
