Baranox
Baranox the Blood-Haunted was a Warband leader in the Crimson Slaughter.[1]
History
Formerly a Veteran Sergeant of the Crimson Sabres, he was loyal to the Emperor but embraced eternal damnation with the rest of his Chapter. Baranox eventually went on to worship Khorne and led the Lords of Carnage Warband within the Crimson Slaughter. While fighting with his Warband he also led a detachment of Terminator elite known as the Wrathguard. In his long service to the Crimson Slaughter, Baranox clashed with both the Space Marines of the Dark Angels Chapter and the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan. He was not the type to fight at a distance, as Baranox preferred to smell his foe's spilled blood as it fell.[1]
During the 13th Black Crusade's invasion of Cadia, Baranox killed the Crimson Fists Captain Ruis Tracinto. However he died shortly afterwards, at the avenging hands of the Dark Angels Master Korahael.[2]
