The Battle for Ceres City.[3]

The Battle for Ceres City was a battle fought between the Blood Angels and the Iron Warriors for control of Ceres City.[1][2]

Background

DELTA-GARMON 11 - 013.M31

Ceres City fell under assault nine times during the campaign for the Delta-Garmon system, each onslaught leaving yet more of the city in ruins. The final assault would see a host of Blood Angels fall upon the central districts, their swift aerial transports and assault troops supported by titans of the Legio Solaria. Offering no quarter to their foes, the Loyalists swept across the city one last time and left only ruins, corpses and broken titans in their wake.[1]

Diorama

There is also a diorama of the same name exhibited at Warhammer World.[1][2]

Most urban dioramas focus on one type of building, but creating a city allowed the team to contrast residential, municipal and industrial areas.[1]

Ceres City changed hands nine times during the campaign for control of the Delta-Garmon system, so the team built fallen gun emplacements, crashed aircraft, and tanks, all buried into the debris at different depths; emphasising a city that has been garrisoned and besieged many times by many different armies.[3]
