Battle for Yultah

The Battle for Yultah began in the aftermath of the Great Rift's creation, when the Daemon Primarch Mortarion led the Death Guard to battle against a horde of Necrons on the world of Yultah.[1]
During the battle though, disaster struck the Death Guard when the Necron broke through their defences near Mortarion and the Daemon Primarch stood against them with only his Deathshroud to aid him. After they realized what had happened, the Death Guard feared the worst and frantically fought their way through the Necrons to reach the Daemon Pirmarch. When they finally reached Mortarion, however, they found him surrounded by the phasing out remains of Necrons, with only a single Deathshroud still standing beside him.[1]
