Battle of Gheden

The Battle of Gheden occurred in early M42 between the Imperium and Necrons.[1]
The war began when Adeptus Mechanicus demanded that the Knightly House Raven seize every deposit of Blackstone from Gheden, the crownworld of the Necron Nihilakh Dynasty. Despite its apparent suicidal nature, the House launched an attack anyway and met vicious resistance from Overlord Aristoteph. Though a trio of Raven Knights managed to topple the pillars of Aristoteph's tomb complex, the Knights were torn apart in the end by Necron firepower.[1]
