The Battle of Gunner Ridge was a decisive battle in the war between the Tau Empire and the Waaagh! of Big Mek Gurgit in 859999.M41. Though Gurgit's Waaagh! consisted almost entirely of Ork walkers, which he believed would be impervious to the Tau's weapons, it was easily crushed by the Tau during the battle, which ended its threat to their Empire.[1]
