Battle of the Blood Nebula

The Battle of the Blood Nebula was one of the latest Imperial attempts to entirely destroy an Eldar Craftworld. The offensive proved a costly disaster, with the Imperium losing an entire Battlefleet to the Eldar defenders. After the defeat, the Imperium adopted a stance of dealing with individual threats posed by a Craftworld, rather than attempting to destroy them outright and provoking their full fury.[1]
