Battle of the Osymanden Way
The Battle of the Osymanden Way was a battle of the Ultramarian Reclamation.[1]
Ork Freebooterz had plagued the Warp routes between the Kasphos System and the Osymanden System for several decades before the Plague Wars, and they intensified after the Death Guard withdrawal. Determined to end the raids, during the Reclamation Demetrian Titus led his 2nd Company against the greenskin pirates. Commodore Gaius Silva analysed the Orks' assault patterns and this, combined with the divinatory abilities of Dainal Kornelius, allowed the Imperials to predict where they would appear next.[1]
In the asteroid belt at the outer edge of the Osymanden System, a furious naval battle erupted. Thanks to the superior gunnery of the battleship Magnificence Enthroned, many Ork vessels were blown apart and the Ultramarines were able to launch a boarding action on the Xenos flagship. Inside, Captain Titus slew Kaptin Gulgor Hullsmasha in single combat.[1]
