Battlefleet Artemis is an Imperial Navy Battlefleet.^[1]

It was dispatched to attack Moracre, after its Planetary Governor was discovered to be in an alliance with the T'au Empire. This was as the Imperium was preparing to launch the Damocles Crusade against the T'au and Moracre was to be made an example of. Battlefleet Artemis was also charged with destroying the trade route Moracre's Governor, Memet Poralius had established between his world and the Xenos' empire. After severing the route's links, Artemis established orbital superiority over Moracre and deployed almost three dozen Astra Militarum Regiments to the world. Though Memet managed to escape to the T'au Empire, Moracre fell to the Imperium.^[1]
