Beren Kiergaard

Beren Kiergaard is a Black Templars Castellan, who served in High Marshal Helbrecht's Crusade Fleet when it took part in the Octarius War, in M42.[1]
History
The Crusade Fleet was later among the Imperial reinforcements that came to the aid of the Imperium's Sigma-Ulstari System. At that time, its defenders were nearly defeated, after the System had been repeatedly invaded by Orks and the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan. As the reinforcements dispersed their forces to its worlds, High Marshal Helbrecht charged Kiergaard with dispatching a strike force to Abundantia. Besides his fellow Black Templars, the Castellan also sent the fanatics of the Cult Imperialis and oath-bound Knights of House T'orvanosh, to aid the besieged Agri World.[1]
