Black Sentinels
The Black Sentinels are an armed force of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, having been active since the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1][2]
Overview
Black Sentinels provide security for Astropaths and their facilities across the Sol System and beyond. They are also entrusted with the task of eliminating compromised Psykers, prowling across the gantries and corridors of the Telepathica headquarters on Terra, forever poised for the first twitch or spasm of possession. Well-trained and armed with Lasguns, they are dressed in black armour and wear masks that resemble snarling beasts.[1][2]
Black Sentinels are also the infamous guardians and enforcers of the Scholastica Psykana, acting as both protectors and jailers. They often patrol the grounds in small squads.[3]
Equipment
Black Sentinels wear glinting obsidian armour and a reflective faceplate. Their armour covers their entire body and protects them both physically and psychically. They typically wield similarly glittering spears with crystal tips and keep a null rod as a secondary weapon at their side.[3]
