Boab is an ice planet located deep within the Segmentum Obscurus. The planet was the site of a desperate battle between orks and the Imperium. The Imperial forces consisted of 1200 guardsmen of the Mordian Ironguard. The Mordians were unable to bring down a gargant deployed by the orks until they received help from nine Dark Angel Space Marines of the Ravenwing. The Space Marines, led by Sergeant Malachi, were able to fight their way through the ork warbuggies, warbikes and battlewagons and destroy the gargant, turning the tide of battle.[1]
