Bul'tek was a Captain in the Salamanders Chapter who fell in battle with Orks, though his Company would go on to defeat the Greenskins.^[1]

After the battle the Company's Chaplain, Ki'van, was sure the Captain's deeds during the battle, and centuries of service to the Imperium, would make him a legendary figure in the Salamanders' history and declared Bul'tek's Bolter, Nocturne's Fury, would become a new relic for their Chapter.^[1]
