Calast's Hame is an Imperial world, that was once invaded by the Dark Eldar.[1]

History

The Xenos repeatedly struck the world's strong defences in the north and, though her losses mounted, the planet's proud Imperial Commander believed her Imperial Guard Regiments would repel the murderous Dark Eldar. When the xenos' attacks began to dwindle and then stopped completely, the Imperial Commander began loudly proclaiming victory - until she received desperate word from the city-warrens in the southern regions.[1]

It appeared that the northern attacks had been mere ruses to distract the Imperial Guard, while the Dark Eldar plundered the cities' near-defenceless populations. Left unhindered, the xenos had managed to spirit away thousands of people, before mysterious black-armoured warriors suddenly appeared and attacked the Dark Eldar. The warriors soon began to cause the Dark Eldar enough casualties that the xenos were forced to divert back their attacking forces in the north, in order to help them. This was not enough to help them, though, and the Dark Eldar were soon driven from Calast's Hame. However, by the time the Imperial Guard battalions reached the southern warren-cities, there was no trace of the strange warriors to whom the remaining population owed their lives.[1]
