Calibanite Charge-blade

Calibanite Charge-blades were relic power swords used by the Enigmatii of the Dark Angels Legion.[1]
Overview
The charge-blades were taken from the forgotten battlefields of the Unification Wars, and later adapted for use by Dark Angels initiates.[1]
Each weapon consisted of an adamantium sword that was woven with charge conduits and linked to a high capacity charge cell. During combat, the charge cell could be activated to super-charge the weapon's power field and heat the sword to temperatures that made it capable of melting conventional armour. Though potent in combat, the weapons could overheat, which would cause their charge cells to rupture and leave a swords' wielder little more than a charred ruin.[1]
