Callimachus is an Imperial world, located within the Realm of Ultramar. During the Plague Wars, Lord Commander Guilliman chose several Ultramarine-descended Chapters to permanently aid in defending Ultramar. The refounded Avenging Sons were among them and Guilliman granted them Callimachus to replace their former homeworld of Traekonnis Major, which was destroyed during the Noctis Aeterna.[2]
