Caradoc (Tutor)

This article includes as a source one the three Black Library novels reissued under the now-defunct Heretic Tomes banner (Farseer, Pawns of Chaos, Space Marine) which, per the Publication Disclaimer, contained material considered outdated or inconsistent with established background lore. The banner has not appeared since 2016, leaving the status of these works uncertain – except for Space Marine whose description now labels it a “curiosity.”

Caradoc (or Karadoc) was a Navigator Tutor, who taught Simon Belisarius.^[1a]

Notes

• Early editions of Farseer (Novel) seem to have spelled his name as Karadoc in Chapters Five and Twelve, and Caradoc in Chapter Fourteen. All cases were standardised as Caradoc in the 2010 reprint.^[1a][1b][1c]
• It is not stated whether Caradoc was a Navigator himself, and whether he was part of House Belisarius, or taught Navigators of more than one House.
