Carrecenad

Carrecenad is the glassy Psychoreactive[3] material from which Soul Stones, Waystones, and Infinity Circuits are formed.[1][2] It is commonly referred to by its most common form: "Soul Stone".[1]
It is a well kept secret even among the Eldar themselves that Carrecenad is formed from the psychic energies of the spirits of the ancient Aeldari of the Eldar Empire who died during the Birth of Slaanesh,[3] their spirits tormented forever by Slaanesh to see the lives they can no longer possess and to reenact their death, after each cycle of which they leave behind Spirit Stones on the Crone Worlds within the Eye of Terror which dissolve once more into the Warp unless collected.[4]
