Castus (Daemonblood)

Castus was a Space Marine Sergeant of the Ultramarines Chapter Second Company. Isolated by the daemon Parmenides during the battle to reclaim the heretic city of Saafir along with Battle Sister Aescarion, Castus was scoured of his memories and faith, which opened the door for his fall to Nurgle. Aescarion spent years searching for and fighting Castus to try and bring him to repent. Her mission was a success, as Castus chose to come back to his master on Saafir and detonate an Exterminatus warhead concealed inside his decaying body, destroying Parmenides and putting an end to his control on over a dozen worlds.^[1]
