Chalice of Darkalabaster

The Chalice of Darkalabaster was once among the dangerous artefacts, that were once imprisoned within the Shadowkeepers' Dark Cells on Terra.^[1]

History

However it was among those that were stolen from the Cells, during the Battle of Lion's Gate. The Shadowkeeper Arrian Porphyrius later began to hunt for the Chalice and it led him to the Maelstrom. There he discovered the artefact was in the possession of the Astral Claws Warband. The Shadowkeeper attacked the Chaos Space Marines who held it, in order to reclaim the Chalice, but the Chaos Space Marines later plunged into the heart of the Great Rift to escape from him. Porphyrius would not let this stop him from his duty, however, and he plunged in after them. However the Shadowkeepers have not heard from him since and now believe Porphyrius has died in his hunt for the Chalice.^[1]
