Chass Memorial

The Chass Memorial is a statue erected in the remains of Vervunhive.[1]
Consisting of a representation of an Imperial Guardsman cast in steel, the statue was commissioned by Lady Merity Chass in the aftermath of the Siege of Vervunhive. The famed Verghastite sculptor Jeshua Thoru cast the memorial; it went on to become Thoru's most famous work, although the sculptor himself was never completely satisfied with it.[1]
