Cladius Hiero
Cladius Hiero was a member of the Ultramarines during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1]
A hero of the Great Crusade who worked directly under Roboute Guilliman on at least six separate occasions, Cladius worked as a Field Police to ensure order amongst his Legion and their allies such as the War Hounds. However upon the eruption of the Horus Heresy and the Betrayal at Calth, Hiero assumed the title of Overseer and was forced to transition into a new darker role as wide swathes of baseline Humans were conscripted to aid the war effort. Outside of maintaining discipline in battle he also was ever watchful for signs of dissent or traitorious corruption amongst the ranks of the loyalists. He was given authority to make judgement and enact any punishment he deemed fit for such offenses.[1]
