Clan Sylthach
Clan Sylthach was a Saim-Hann Wild Rider Clan that met with disaster, during the Death Guard's invasion of their Craftworld.[1]
While the Eldar of Saim-Hann eventually forced the Death Guard to retreat, they could not do so before the servants of Nurgle irrecoverably tainted Clan Sylthach's homeland. In the invasion's aftermath, Saim-Hann's desperate Seer Council ordered the tainted territory to be cut away from the Craftworld, lest its infection spread. They were successful in doing so but the surviving members of Clan Sylthach were filled with devastating despair, as their homeland was torn from the Craftworld. So deep was their pain, that it conjured Daemons of Nurgle into the Clan's Waystones, which transformed the Eldar of Sylthach into insect mutants. Soon, tales of tainted Eldar Corsairs became prevalent throughout the Paragos Sub-sector and beyond.[1]
