Claucus is a Librarian Dreadnought in the Blood Angels Chapter.^[1]

History

Before his interment, Claucus was an Epistolary and was among the Blood Angels' forces that took part^[1] in the Dark Crusade's^[2] Mont'shi Campaign. The Campaign was launched against the T'au Empire,^[3] which had begun invading Imperial Sectors near the Damocles Gulf, in order to increase its territory.^[2] Claucus has long been a proponent of strict anti-Xenos polices and it was the T'au's invasions that caused the Blood Angels to finally give the Epistolary one of its Battle Companies to command. He was then charged with putting down the T'au's heresies that had overtaken many of the Imperium's colonies, in the regions the Xenos had invaded. However, Claucus was later gravely injured in battle with the T'au and had to be placed within a Librarian Dreadnought afterwards. Once he had recovered, Claucus continued to fight the Xenos' forces.^[1] Though the Mont'shi Campaign eventually ended in failure,^[2] Claucus survived the Crusade.^[1]

Claucus was created for the Dark Crusade Campaign, by the Hobby Center staff of Games Workshop's Potomac Mills store^[1] in Prince William, Virginia, USA.^[3]
