The Contest of Shadows is a bicentennial trial of stealth and ingenuity, that is held by the Raven Guard Chapter.[1]

History
The winning champion of the Contest is then allowed to wield one of the masterpiece weapons, that reside within the Raven Guard's Ravenspire Fortress Monastery on the moon Deliverance. The vast array of the vaults' relics are usually untouched for millennia, unless chosen by a champion to wield as their personal weapon. However, should the worse happen and Deliverance is in danger of falling to invaders, then the Ravenspire's vaults will be emptied and the relics used to defend the moon.[1]
