Corvin Severax
Corvin Severax was the Master of Shadows of the Raven Guard.[1]
He was an enigmatic and mysterious figure, rarely encountered by the wider Imperium, Even the Battle-Brothers of his own Chapter rarely saw him. However, he nonetheless made a name for himself, most notably leading the Raven Guard in fighting against the T'au Empire on Agrellan and Voltoris in the Third Sphere of Expansion.[1]
During the Prefectia Campaign, Corvin Severax would meet his end battling the T'au Commander Shadowsun. Thinking he slew the T'au leader, Severax had instead killed a decoy volunteer and was subsequently blown in half by Shadowsun, cloaked and piloting a Ghostkeel.[2]
Corvin Severax wielded the Lightning Claws known as the Claws of Severax and the suit of Power Armour dubbed the Blackwing Mantle. Both were taken up after his death by Aethon Shaan following his appointment to Master of Shadows after Kayvaan Shrike's resignation.[3]
