Crimson crown^[1]

The Crimson crown (chain weapon) is a type of chain weapon created by humanity likely during the Dark Age of Technology.^[1]

Crimson crowns are discs about as thick as a human palm and wide as a forearm. When thrown micro-gravlifts activate and the sharp teeth lining the outer edge of the disc spin furiously. These chain weapons can be thrown at great ranges and will tear through bone and viscera alike. To have one of these exceedingly advanced weapons in one's possession is a sign of status.^[1]
