Cult of the Eightfold Prophet
The Cult of the Eightfold Prophet is a Chaos Undivided Cult that was created on Struthian Tertius, by the Rogue Psyker known as the Prophet.[1]
History
Under her command, the Cult began an uprising during the 13th Black Crusade and focused their attacks on the Shrine of Saint Lycestra of the Nine Wounds. Struthian Tertius's planetary militia defended the Shrine, while a plea for aid was sent out from the world. This was received by the Adepta Sororitas of the Order of the Sacred Rose and a strike force led by the Celestian Sacresant Aveline Aboyé arrived just as the Shrine was about to be overrun by the Cult. Their arrival turned the tide of the battle and Aboyé was able to kill the Prophet. Seeing their leader struck down caused the remnants of the Cult of the Eightfold Prophet to flee afterwards, but Aboyé did not order her strike force after them. Instead, she declared their work on Struthian Tertius was done and the world's planetary militia could hunt down what remained of the Cult.[1]
