The Custodes Reaction Forces were a type of Custodian Guard formation during the late stages of the Horus Heresy, during the Siege of Terra.^[1]

Background

During the early stages of the Siege of Terra the forces of the White Scars rode out to defend areas away from the Palace and wider Himilayzia plateau. Constantin Valdor authorised small forces of Custodes to keep track of these Ordu detachments in speeders and transports due to the fast moving nature of their allies.^[1]
