Cyclone Interceptors are a type of fighter jet found in the Imperium.[1a]
Description
These powerful planes sports massive twin-engines and a delta form. Cyclone's were found in the Enothian Commonwealth Air Force.[1a] They are completely outclassed by vector-thrust planes.[1d]
The massive piston engines are started by trolley-mounted primer coils.[1a] They can be launched from steam catapults.[1e] Piloted by two crews sitting in a glass nose cockpit, Cyclones could fly top-cover tours for other aircrafts.[1a] They are equipped with gun-ports with target-lock feedback,[1d] Vox[1b] and antiquated detector systems with a target-lock warning, but lack an auspex.[1d]
In Enothian service, Cyclones are painted in a grey and white dazzle.[1c]
