Cyneric was a Chaplain of the Black Templars Chapter.[1d]
Biography
In the aftermath of the Helsreach Crusade, Cyneric was being considered for induction into the Black Templars Chaplaincy.[1a] High Marshal Helbrecht assigned Cyneric to be apprenticed to Reclusiarch Merek Grimaldus for evaluation as to whether he was worthy.[1a][1b]
Cyneric accompanied his master when he came to the assistance of the beleaguered Celestial Lions Chapter, who were fighting against an ork horde in the Second Mannheim Siege. Although he lost one of his arms during the battle, the purity of his hatred for the enemies of Mankind impressed Grimaldus and earned his recommendation.[1c][1d]
