Czarn the Cyberoth is an infamous Necromundan Heretek that once led the Brethren of the Black Dawn Techno-Heresy Cult.[1]

History

In the aftermath of the Great Rift's creation, the Hive World was left in disarray. This led the Brethren of the Black Dawn to join the various Chaos forces, mutants, and monsters that attacked the Necromunda surface settlement known as Cinderak City. However, they did so just as a massive battle broke out as House Escher defended the city from the invading forces of House Goliath. Caught between the Clan Houses, most of the Brethren were slain, without the two opposing forces even knowing the Techno-Heresy Cult was there. Czarn survived the battle but was left mortally wounded, and used his last moments to transfer his brain into one of the Brethren's Scrap-Code Ambots. The operation was a success and the Heretek then used the Ambot to drink deep of a power conduit that was connected to an ancient plasma reactor beneath Cinderak City. The energy further reshaped Czarn's new form and caused corrupted organic growths to cover the Ambot. Cultists then gathered around him, drawn by whispers of the Warp, and they greeted Czarn as their new master.[1]

However, soon afterward Czarn and his army were attacked beneath Cinderak City by the forces of both House Escher and House Goliath. In the three-way war that followed, Czarn found himself fighting the Goliath Stimmer Gorshiv Hammerfist. Despite his new form and abilities, the Heretek was defeated by Hammerfist, who destroyed Czarn's Ambot body. However, because its destruction occurred as the Heretek was grasping a power conduit, Czarn's essence somehow survived intact. After going down ancient powerlines, the Heretek observed Hammerfist at first, before he lost interest and began searching for a new form to dwell in.[1]
