Daemon Pike

These heavy pikes measuring more than three meters in length are designed to break the charge of mutants, daemons, and other creatures of the warp and keep them at bay.[1]
Mounting a blade of adamantine-silver edged with diamantine on a hollow steel tube, Daemon Pikes are inscribed with chants, prayers, and sermons meant to ward off evil, while the metre of shaft below the head is set with short forward-point spines, ending in two broad blades that both prevent the enemy from advancing and the user from getting its weapon stuck in the foe.[1]
The sacred materials, etched prayers, holy water and blessed oils anointing the weapon make it particularly efficient against the daemonic.[1]
