Danmar was a member of the Imperial Fists Legion.[1c]
He served in the Crusader Host on Terra during the last years of the Great Crusade.[1c] However, after the Horus Heresy began, the Primarch Rogal Dorn was unsure of the Host's loyalty to the Imperium. Because of this, Dorn had[1a] the members of the Host incarcerated within Khangba Marwu prison.[1b] The Primarch would exempt the Imperial Fists who served in the Host from this, though[1a], and Danmar[1c] joined his Legion's efforts to defend Terra.[1a]
