Dark Pit is a Hive World of the Imperium. It is the second planet of the Coryxx System.[1b]
As the Coryxx System is part of the Sanctus Wall, it and its worlds were targeted by agents of Abaddon the Despoiler during the Nachmund Rift War in an attempt to destabilise Imperial defensive efforts in the region. Notably, Inquisitor Pietrov Mensk of the Ordo Aegis discovered a colony of thousands of mutants on Dark Pit and led a mission to eradicate them.[1a]
