Demeter was an Ultramarines Primaris Captain and commanded the Fulminata demi-Company.^[1a]

During the Battle of Ikara IX Demeter was killed leading a counterattack against the Orks to buy time for allied Imperial Guard to withdraw. Command then fell to Lieutenant Tyranus.^[1b]
