Dieprian Mountain Men
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Dieprian Mountain Man[1]
The Dieprian Mountain Men are an Imperial Guard Regiment.[1]
They were given their name by The Emperor himself, when he set foot on their planet sometime before the Great Crusade. The Mountain Men are a single regiment relegated to safeguarding Dieper III. Committed to an eternity of guard duty, the Mountain Men are not sent to fight in major conflicts.[2a]
Their fighting style was based on ambushes at high altitudes using Valkyries, due to the fact that their homeworld is a planet with many mountain ranges.[1]
