A Disruption Pod is a T'au device which can be mounted on their vehicles.[1]
It projects distorting visual and magnetic images to hide the actual location of the vehicle it is mounted upon, making it difficult to target at long range.[1][2] Also known as a Disruptor Drone by forces of the Imperium, it is a sleek, white disc, which, if carried onboard aircraft like the Barracuda, is ejected from the rear.[3]
Vehicles affected by the disruption field vanish for a moment in a haze-like shimmer, only to later reappear just as quickly in different positions.[3]
