Dissonance Engine

The Dissonance Engine is a device similar to the same technology the Old Ones used to create the Webway.[1a]
The Dissonance Engine was created by Vashtorr the Arkifane and is intended to tunnel a hole into the reality between the Materium and Warp when combined with The Key. During the Battle of Idolatros, Vashtorr succeeded in activating the device and used the Dissonance Engine to create a new rift in reality which he now uses to seek The Lock and then The Weapon.[1b]
