- In the Imperial Campaign of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II, Drang is killed by Inquisitor Darkhammer, with Admiral Spire being promoted in his place as High Admiral of Segmentum Obscurus.[1]
- In the Chaos Champaign of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II, Drang is revealed to be a secret turncoat Admiral in service of Dark Apostle Arkrist Vane and Malos Vrykan. However, he would be discovered by the Imperium, which would also be known to his dark masters. Despite an effort by Space Marine Captain Maluan of the Imperial Fists to take Drang alive for Imperial interrogation, he would be captured by Malos Vrykan. Just before his death at the hands of chaos interrogators, he would reveal the fleet movements of Roboute Guilliman, ultimately leading to the Primarchs capture by Malos Vrykan at the culmination of Vrykan's campaign.[1]
- In the Tyranid Campaign, following the death of Roboute Guilliman in a last stand and the defeat of all Imperial Forces in the regions around Cadia it is said that "nothing survived". Feasibly, Drang may have been among them, given all Imperial forces were brought to bare.[1]
- Drang is not mentioned in the Necron campaign. When Spire is slain commanding a task force, he is still a Lord Admiral.[1]
