The Battle Chapel, or Drop Chapel[2] is a type of dropship used by the Adepta Sororitas.[1b]
Description
Battle Chapels are ornate fortresses, fashioned with statues and reliquaries.[1c] They are carried aboard a Void-Cathedrum for boarding[1b] and planetary landing action.[1c]
A single Battle Chapel can carry two hundred Sisters of Battle. It is armed with meltas,[1b] city-flattening lance arrays[1c] and exorcist tube launchers[1d] and defended by void shields.[1c] A Battle Chapel is also equipped with laud-hailers to broadcast battle hymns.[1d] On the ground, a Battle Chapel is mobile by walking on articulated legs.[1a]
