A Void-Cathedrum or Invasion Cathedrum[2] is a type of spaceship used by the Adepta Sororitas.[1a]

Description
Three miles long,[1b] a Void-Cathedrum is an object of sublime beauty, featuring vaulting fabric domes,[1a] fleur-de-lys pinnacles[1b] and stained-armaglass windows.[1e] Simultaneously, it is also a weapon of terror and war, being armed with macrocannons, sonic disruptors,[1a] magma-warhead-firing bombardment cannons, 800 feet long torpedoes,[1d] lance batteries, ordnance turrets[1f] and an organ-mounted array of attack-suppressing weaponry.[1a] A Void-Cathedrum is defended by shield generators and carries battle chapels for boarding[1c] and planetary landing actions.[1f]
A Void-Cathedrum is itself capable of planetary descent and landing, using its retro-thrusters to slow its descent[1f] and can hold many hundreds of Battle Sisters to disgorge into battle.[5]
Known vessels
- Daughter of the Emperor — In service with the Order of Our Martyred Lady. Has a top-mounted statue of Saint Katherine, with her sword raised.[1a]
