Eightfold Bane

The Eightfold Bane was a Word Bearers host, that was led by the Dark Apostle Cerastes.[1]
History
He led the Eightfold Bane in invading the Ecclesiarchy Scribe World Legitur, which Cerastes sought to corrupt into the worship of Chaos. However, the host was later destroyed in battle by the Adepta Sororitas of the Order of the Thorn, who were led by Palatine Aesura. But while Legitur was saved, Cerastes survived the Eightfold Bane's destruction and remained hidden on the world. The Dark Apostle has now vowed to not only conquer Legitur, as he had originally planned, but to also rebuild his host as well.[1]
