Electro-Static Flares are flares used by the T'au Empire, that douse an area in electro-static interference.^[1]

While the T'au and their allies' wargear have been hardened against this, their enemies have no such protection from the obfuscation the flares emit. The Battlesuits of T'au Commanders can be modified so that they can launch salvos of Electro-Static Flares.^[1]
