The Emerald Snakes were a Fleet Based Space Marine Chapter.[1a]
History
Their nomadic fleets operated across the galactic north-west and the Halo Stars, until the creation of the Great Rift. The giant Warpstorm cut the Emerald Snakes off from the light of the Astronomican and without it, their ships were cast adrift.[1a] The Chapter's fleets were then attacked by Daemons[1b], who ultimately destroyed the Emerald Snakes.[1a]
